Soroptimist International of South Whidbey provides financial awards to single moms and other women who are heads of their households so that they may pursue their dreams of a higher education. Whether she wants to attend a four-year university or obtain career or vocational training, we believe that when we help a woman improve her situation through education, we help families throughout the community.
Many girls right here in our community face barriers on the pathway to achieving their dreams. South Whidbey Soroptimists believe that, through mentoring and support, girls can overcome these challenges and strive for a brighter future. Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls gives girls the tools they need to achievle their education and career goals and break the cycles of poverty, violence, and abuse.
